Companionship Agreement

1. Services Provided

Lollipop's Companion Care agrees to provide companionship and support services as discussed and agreed between both parties. Services may include, but are not limited to:

• Home visits and companionship
• Social outings and accompanied trips
• Care home visits and social engagement
• Family support and respite
• Light assistance with daily activities as agreed

The specific services, frequency, and duration of visits will be agreed in advance and may be adjusted by mutual agreement.

2. Fees and Payment

Fees are as set out in the current Service Pricing Framework. Invoices will be issued [weekly / fortnightly / monthly — as agreed] and are payable within 14 days of issue.

Payment may be made by bank transfer. Details will be provided on the invoice.

Fees may be reviewed with reasonable notice (minimum 4 weeks' written notice of any change).

3. Cancellations

We ask for at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a visit. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may be charged at 50% of the agreed session fee. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged in full.

In the event that Laura needs to cancel a visit, as much notice as possible will be given and no charge will be made.

4. Confidentiality

All information shared about the client and their family will be treated in strict confidence and used only for the purpose of delivering the agreed services. Please refer to our Companionship Privacy Notice for full details of how personal data is handled.

5. Safeguarding and DBS

Laura holds a current enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check. Any safeguarding concerns will be handled in accordance with relevant legislation and guidance.

6. Limitation of Liability

Lollipop's Companion Care provides companionship and social support. We are not a registered care agency and do not provide personal care, nursing, or medical services. In the event of a medical emergency, emergency services will be contacted immediately.

7. Termination

Either party may end this agreement with 2 weeks' written notice. In exceptional circumstances (e.g. safeguarding concerns), either party may terminate immediately.
